Blaupunkt celebrates centenary on-track with United Autosports and McLaren

 

 

To mark its centennial anniversary, the iconic Blaupunkt brand is returning triumphantly to motorsport, partnering with United Autosports and McLaren in the prestigious 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship. The Blaupunkt logo is proudly adorning McLaren cars #59 and #95 and the drivers’ suits for six thrilling races, including the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

This partnership perfectly reflects Blaupunkt's rich heritage in car audio and its deep connection to motorsport from the 1980s and 1990s.

The striking blue and white livery symbolized racing success worldwide, with highlights such as a commanding victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona and a podium finish at Le Mans. Zak Brown, co-owner of United Autosports, even houses a 1981 Blaupunkt Porsche 962 in his collection of iconic, historic cars, carefully maintained at United Autosports' headquarters.

In tandem with this motorsport collaboration, Blaupunkt is launching a dynamic digital campaign crafted and executed by our Paris-based digital agency, Digital Playas.

The campaign underscores the brand’s unwavering dedication to endurance and performance. Our licensees are fully engaged with an extensive schedule of high-impact content, including videos, photos, and posts for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The captivating footage from United Autosports is seamlessly blended with original brand and licensee content, creating a comprehensive, celebratory 100-year marketing campaign.

Licensees are invited to participate in the ultimate motorsport experience with United Autosports’ first-class race-day hospitality, allowing them to entertain guests at these exhilarating events. The season's next—and final—race will take place in Bahrain on November 2nd.
